Author Spotlight – L.V. Lane

Ok people, we’re back for another author spotlight. This week, we’re going to focus on L.V. Lane 😀

Here’s a little bit about L.V. Lane

I love a happy ever after, although sometimes the journey to get there can be rough on my poor characters.
An unashamed fan of the alpha, the antihero, and the throwback in all his guises and wherever he may lurk.

L.V. is a prolific dark romance writer, who has a fabulously unique twist on the Omegaverse genre. She’s recently started to branch out with a science fiction thriller and a romance that I think is going to have us laughing and fanning ourselves all at once.

Lets start with her new releases, because why not?

I can tell when someone is lying.
And I know when they speak the truth.
I predict about the future, about our civilization,
And I know we are going to lose the war.
I’m not afraid to use predictive skills to break the rules–to break people–if it’s necessary for the greater good.
My relationship with my brother may be strained, but he’s in trouble.
And I’m going to get him out…whatever it takes.

Today is the first day of my first job.
I’m nervous, excited, and much too early.
Which is when I meet him for the very first time.
He’s a businessman with a ruthless reputation.
A billionaire and a playboy.
His company sponsored my scholarship.
And I’ve dreamed about him in the kind of detail you can’t even tell your best friend about.
That was before I thought we might meet.
There is something very cliche about accidentally throwing your drink over a god in human flesh. The throwing part is where the cliche ends for me.
He doesn’t look endeared by the incident, nor amused. He looks mad as freaking hell.
My brain freezes, mental capability flees, and I look away from his penetrating gaze,
but that brings my focus to his chest, where coffee drips down onto his doubtless expensive shoes.
I want to die. I have never wanted to die before, but if a magic wish were granted me now, I would happily cease to exist.
I’ve just thrown a full and very hot cup of coffee all over my very hot new boss.

Before the Copper virus came along, we were ordinary people. Developed in a lab, the virus was hailed as the next stage of evolution. Little did we know how it would change us, physically and physiologically. It divided us. There were still ordinary people among us, those for whom the virus did not latch. And then there were the dynamics—Alpha through to Mu. And Omega, the lowliest dynamic. We are obligated to use our special gifts for the betterment of our kind, often forced into combat or government operations. They assign us Alpha controllers, to keep us in line. How they accomplish that, is too carnal and intimate to discuss in mixed company.
(This is the complete collection of books 1-6, which you can find listed individually below)
